Fady Ghobrial, Ministry Fellow

Fady Ghobrial was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt and moved to Massachusetts when he was in Middle School, so he claims Boston as his home. He earned his Bachelor in Urban Studies from Worcester State University. After a radical encounter with Jesus during college, he quickly sensed a call to ministry and began serving in both local church and itinerant worship and preaching ministry.

He holds a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is ordained with the Southern Baptist Convention. Fady attends and serves at the Arabic Baptist Church of Boston, where his whole family came to faith. At his local church, Fady teaches and disciples the youth and serves with the worship team as well. Fady is passionate about experimental cooking, playing guitar, reformed theology and the supernatural. Fady enjoys reading, spending time with his wife Renée, black coffee and visioneering the future.

Renee Ghobrial, Ministry Fellow

Renee is a native of Massachusetts. She earned her Bachelor in Criminal Justice from Boston University. At the end of her time at BU, she decided to pursue counseling instead of criminal law and began attending Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where she received her Masters in Mental Health and Marriage/Family Counseling.

Tyler Parker.jpg

Tyler Parker, Ministry Fellow

Tyler was born and raised in High Springs, FL. During his undergraduate years at Harvard University, he earned an A.B. in Government and a secondary in Filmmaking. He joined Harvard College Faith and Action in his freshman spring, where Christian Union's unique approach to intellectually rigorous and theologically faithful teaching compelled him to stay and grow as a follower of Christ.

To give back to HCFA and to explore a call into ministry, he remained at Harvard to intern with the fellowship, but was recently hired as a new ministry fellow. He served as a ministry team leader within HCFA and as an Assistant Bible Course Leader for the senior class. While in college, he also served as a pastoral intern for Pastor Adam Mabry of Aletheia Church in Cambridge, MA, where he also works as a Media Team Assistant.

In his free time, Tyler loves to watch and make movies, practice percussion, talk politics, and dream about God's kingdom. He lives in the Boston area to remain on call for the fellowship.
